Hey everyone! This blog I first began writing back in Costa Rica when the Lord was really teaching me how He can change the atmosphere through our daily, bold faith walk with him. What’s incredible is how the Father has tied this so beautifully to our identities in Him.

I have really seen the Lord step in and change the atmospheres of wherever I have been on the race. I have seen Him do this through faithful obedience of my squad, our joy and adoration of Him, and simply walking in who He has made us.

I see this atmospheric change a lot during our stays at Hostels. The first time was in Jaco. My team and another went to stay at a hostel for a weekend to relax and refuel for our ministry. While we were there we felt the spiritual warfare of the people there and questioned what we could do. It was incredible though, because the Lord stepped in through simply our character that He has given and our hearts to praise Him, to change the atmosphere of the place. We had people who didn’t believe in God who were feeling pulled to us and asking for prayer. People who would ask us to play worship for them because it made them feel at peace. People asking questions about the character and identity of God. Even people who told us that the night we arrived they felt a peaceful presence that they wanted to be around. It was incredibly humbling and honoring that the Lord worked through us simply walking in Him. We didn’t plan any Bible study or Worship night or anything. We just walking in our identity of Him and he was Glorified.

I just wanted to share this because the Lord is working through each one of His children, even if we don’t know it. His presence changes the atmosphere through our obedience and adoration of who He is. It has been truly incredible to witness and experience the faithfulness of my Father. He has done it over and over again on my race.

If you have any stories about how the Father has changed atmosphere’s in your life I would love for you to share them in the comments below.
